MIDDLETOWN, NJ – ”I do it because I can.”  A simple answer when a student was asked why he victimizes his fellow students.  To address this serious and timely issue, Conflict Resolution Specialist George Anthony will conduct a bullying workshop at Middletown Main Library on Tuesday, December 7th, from 7:00-8:30 p.m.  Using various methodologies, Mr. Anthony will explore strategies for both parents and schools; interventions to create a safety net to protect children; and ways to neutralize a culture of cruelty.  Mr. Anthony is certified in Mediation by Columbia University, the National Institute for Dispute Resolution, and the New York City Board of Education.  Reservations are required for this adult only workshop.  To register contact the Children’s Services Department at 732 671-3700 ext. 340.
