MIDDLETOWN, NJ – When the Sherwin Williams store in Middletown asked, “What can you do to help the troops?”  members of Associated Painting Professional and Decorating Contractors, better know as APPDC, reached out and collected a total of $350.00 towards the purchase of items such as baby wipes, books , DVD’s, soap, batteries, gum, and towels and wash cloths.

With the help of several of the APPDC members these items where purchased at a local warehouse store and taken to the Sherwin Williams store to be packaged for the trip to help the Troops.

APPDC has helped local churches in the past several years do painting jobs that were long over due.   On November 13th the group did a painting project at St George by the River in Rumson.

The membership of APPDC is that of local businessmen who feel the need to give back to the community in which they live and work.
