MIDDLETOWN, NJ – A proclamation was issued to mark the 100th anniversary of the New Jersey Blind Citizens Association inception at the Middletown Township Committee meeting held October 8th.

The group has successfully worked for a century to remove stigmas associated with being blind or visually impaired and create opportunities for clients to live self-sufficient, happy lives. Development Director Marisa Medina accepted the proclamation. Their main campus, Camp Happiness, is located in the Leonardo section of Middletown.
