3rd Annual Tasting Event at Two River Theater Features Local Restaurants

Red Bank, NJ – The Community YMCA will host the 3rd annual “A Taste of the Two Rivers” event, sponsored by Investors Savings Bank, to benefit the Y’s Strong Kids Campaign on Monday, October 25th from 6-9 p.m. at The Two River Theater in Red Bank. The event will feature an exclusive sampling of food, desserts, wine and spirits from the Two River area’s finest restaurants and purveyors, as well as a gift auction, restaurant raffle and music by Andy McDonough.

Participating restaurants include: Anna’s Italian Kitchen, Bahr’s, Bistro Ole, Danny’s Steakhouse, Gaetano’s, The Melting Pot, Merrimakers, The Molly Pitcher Inn, Oyster Point Hotel, Readie’s, Racioppi’s, Red Bank Chocolate Shoppe, Salt Creek Grille, Shore Point Distributors, Sickles Market, Starbucks, Taste and more. Serving on the event Steering Committee are: Co-Chairs, Steve Bidgood, of The Salt Creek Grille, Bob Sickles, of Sickles Market, and Peter Glover, of Total Graphic Solutions, Christian Buckman, Claire Glover, Kathleen Hofmann, Lisa Walsh, Andy McDonough, Terry Pataffi, Jennifer Shaw, Susan Pelligra and Donna Sullivan.

All proceeds from “A Taste of the Two Rivers” are used to directly benefit the lives of local children and their families through the Y’s Strong Kids Campaign. In the past two years, the Tasting has raised nearly $50,000 that went back into the greater Red Bank community to support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Tickets are $75 each/ $100 (after October 15th). Various ticket packages, sponsorships and ad journal opportunities are available.
