ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – Colymnist Michael Riley will preach at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service at the First Presbyterian Church.

The sermon of the minister and columnist is entitled “The Word of God,”

about the book the book the church calls “the word of God and Christ as the Word.”

Rev. Riley will continue his popular “mystery bag” children’s sermon series in which youngsters try to “stump the pastor” by putting a personal “treasure” in a small brown paper bag. The minister then picks one and creates a children’s message from the contents.

Riley will return to the pulpit on Aug. 22 and 29. The Rev. Barbara Macfie will preach and administer Communion on Sept. 5.
