Leonardo, NJ – On July 15 the Leonardo beach party was held for residents of Leonardo and other areas of Middletown on Leonardo Beach.  It was a hot evening, but the Sandy Hook Bay breeze made it comfortable for all enjoy the party.  The event was attended by former Mayor and Township Committee member Pamela Brightbill and the Director of the Township of Middletown Parks and Recreation Greg Silva.

Rich Kaufman Productions was the Dee-Jay who played tunes of today and yesteryear.  There were games for the children and young people to play such as “name that tune” and a hoola hoop contest.  The partygoers enjoyed hot dogs, potato chips as well as cold drinks of soda, iced tea and water.  Most of the attendees at the party come every year, as with Christine Cooper of Middletown who came with her two children Taryn and R.J..

The party ended at 9:00pm.  The Department of Parks and Recreation and Cultural Affairs is the gracious host of this annual summer event.
