CASTING CALL- The Original Comedy “WALLS”

Passion Players Community Theatre mounting an Original Comedy “Walls” written by a local actor  George  Pitthius and directed by Gary Stern. We are looking for 10 men and 5 women ages 20 through 50 years of age. Three of the women need  to be able to sing and one of the males need to be able to sing. Rehearsals will start the first week in July and the show dates are 8/13, 8/14, 8/18, 8/20, 8/21, 8/27, 8/28 & 8/29. Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM. Our Future Star Productions, formerly The Children’s Entertainment Series August show is called “Larceny And Old Lace,” a comedic (non musical) spoof on the classic movie “Arsenic And Old Lace.” There are still roles open, for anyone between 5 and 15 that are interested in being in this very funny play. Those of you that are auditioning for the main stage musical “Big,” there will be absolutely no conflicts if you want to do both.

“Larceny And Old Lace” rehearsals will start the week of 7/12 and performances are in August. “Big” doesn’t go up until Sept., so rehearsals for this show will be going on when the youth show is already performing. if you are interested you can call Debby at 732 888-0339 or PM at 732 768-1780.

To all adult Actors and Actresses our September main stage show is the musical “Big,” based on the movie with Tom Hanks. The music is fabulous and we have several amazing roles still open. Our next set of auditions will be on Sat. 7/17 from 2-4 PM. If you are interested in auditioning, please prepare 16 bars of a Broadway type song (bring sheet music), come wearing comfortable shoes and clothes for dancing (not everyone has to dance) and we will read you from the script.
