MIDDLETOWN, NJ – On June 1st, the first 100 adult customers who show their library cards at Middletown’s Main Library will automatically be entered in the “50-50 Raffle,” which is sponsored by the MTPL Foundation, Inc.

Using your library card is library policy.  If you forget your card, delays are caused for others, and the economy of the self-check-out process is compromised.   Because the borrowing of materials is on the rise and library staffing is not, this situation needs to be turned around.  Starting June 1, the library will impose a $1.00 fee on customers who check out without a library card.  So, find that library card and stick it in your wallet and keep it there and avoid a fee at check-out.

Always have your card with you, get the chance to win big bucks, and avoid unnecessary delays.  It’s a win-win.

Middletown Main Library is located at 55 New Monmouth Rd – mtpl.org – 732-671-3700 x320.
