ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ — Minister, columnist and author Michael Riley will be the guest speaker at the 10 a.m. worship service this Sunday — Pentecost Sunday — at the First Presbyterian Church.

His sermon is entitled “”Pentecost: The Fire of Love.”

Rev. Riley will continue his “mystery bag” children’s sermon series in which each young person tries to “stump the pastor” by putting one of their treasurers in a small paper bag. Riley then picks one and creates a message for the children from the contents.

Riley will also be the guest preacher May 30, the day before Memorial Day. Rev. Barbara Macfie will preach and administer Communion on June 6.

Area residents are welcome to worship with the congregation of the 120-year-old handicapped accessible church at the corner of Third and E. Highland Aves. All children are invited to attend the Sunday School and child care is provided during worship all services.
