RUMSON, NJ – There will be a youth and adult 3 on 3 basketball tournament held on July 16 & 17 2010 at Holy Cross School in Rumson, NJ . Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the newly formed, Jay Dooley Memorial Foundation.

The JDMF is a family foundation that funds critical mental and medical health evaluation and treatment of children with special needs. The JDMF will provide financial assistance to families to ease the economic burden associated with these services. Finally, the foundation will provide health and educational resources for children with disabilities, as well as providing support and education for educators working with these children.

The Youth 3-on- 3 Tournament will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 12 noon at the Holy Cross School located at 30 Ward Avenue, Rumson, NJ, 07760. The Adult 3-on-3 Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 7:30am, also at Holy Cross School.

Age brackets for children as follows: 11-13, 14-15, 16-19. Age bracket for adults as follows: 20-29, 30-39, 40 and over. Games will be officiated by certified officials and according to National High School Federation Rules. The cost to register is $150 per team, and teams should be made up of a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 4.

Individuals may also register, and will be matched up with a team. Cost of registration includes two event t-shirts.
