Dear Editor,

It is with great sadness that I write this letter to express my personal sorrow about the loss of a great friend in Senator Joseph Azzolina.

Joe came from a generation of American heroes who knew that it was their responsibility to leave the world a better place than they found it.  He served his country first in the US Navy Reserves and later as a distinguished Senator and Assemblyman in New Jersey.

Joe’s dedication to public service and his passion for serving the public good were never-ending as was his desire to see a better life for all of the people of New Jersey.

While we may have come from different ends of the political spectrum and held different views on public policy, I always knew that Joe was doing what he thought was in the best interest of his constituents.

The holiday season is approaching quickly, and many families are looking to board their pets while they travel. It’s the perfect time to update vaccinations before holiday travels begin. Call today to schedule an appointment. (732) 291-4400

Joe was the kind of person who regardless of his politics was able to make friendships with both Democrats and Republicans that spanned all of the decades of his public service.  I am just one of the countless Democrats who will always remember Joe as a great friend.
