HOLMDEL, NJ – Walk the Ramanessin Brook Greenway route, or drive directly, but get to Bayonet Farm on Middletown Road in Holmdel for the annual Earth Day Festival on Sunday, April 25.   The Greenway Walk will begin at 10:00 am at Holmdel Park, with the festival following from 12:00 to 5:00.  The events are free to the public.

The Red Barn will host folk rock music by popular bands all afternoon, and provide refreshments at the lower level deli and bake shoppe.  A variety of environmental groups will be on hand to help you “Go Green.”

Children of all ages will enjoy Earth Day crafts, the Farm Friends Petting Zoo, and an animal show in the Gray Barn.  Holmdel’s Finest K-9 Team will demonstrate their skills, and the Pet Adoption Network will offer families new feline best friends.

Stargazers will have no problem looking at the sun through telescopes provided by the STAR Astronomy Club.  Historians will enjoy Harding House tours, as well as the Holmdel Historical Society’s recently recovered bootleg still.
