MIDDLETOWN, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders will dedicate a newly completed transportation project at the intersection of Cherry Tree Farm, Leonardville Road, New Monmouth Road and Tindall Road at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 1, 2010.

The intersection improvements consist of roadway widening to build a dedicated left-turn lane on all four approaches and a dedicated right-turn lane on Leonardville and Tindall roads, plus a traffic signal upgrade. Also included were improvements to the intersection at Park Avenue and Tindall Road.

The project was designed by T&M Associates of Middletown, and inspected by HNTB Corporation of Wayne with direction from the Monmouth County Department of Public Works and Engineering. The project was built by Lucas Construction Group, Inc. of Marlboro at an estimated contract cost of $797,521. Middletown is contributing up to $30,000 of the cost.
