ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – Please join us at the First Presbyterian Church of Atlantic Highlands this Sunday — Palm Sunday — as we approach Holy Week with the Rev. Michael Riley in the pulpit. His sermon at our 10 a.m. worship service will be “The Last Good Time.”

On Good Friday, April 1, our church will host a community ecumenical service from noon and 3 p.m., sponsored by the Area Association of Community Churches (AACC). The service will be conducted by Atlantic Highlands area pastors who will preach on the seven words spoken by Jesus as he was being crucified on the cross.

On Easter Sunday, April 4, the Rev. Barbara Macfie will preach and administer Holy Communion.

This Sunday — Palm Sunday, Rev. Riley, minister, columnist and author, will continue his “mystery bag” children’s sermon series, which he has described as “stump the pastor” in his weekly column, “Only Human,” in the Asbury Park Press on Fridays.

The adult choir, under the direction of David Nunez, will offer as its  introit “The Palms,” featuring baritone Peter Donoghue, and the anthem “Ride on King Jesus.”

We treat each of our patients as part of the family at Atlantic Highlands Animal Hospital. We offer top-quality surgical and dental treatments for cats and dogs. For the best pet care in the Atlantic Highlands, NJ, call us at (732) 291-4400.

Palms will be distributed to all in attendance.

Rev. Riley will return to our pulpit on April 11 and will also preach on April 18 and 25.

Please invite your friends to our services and remind them that our 120-year-old is handicapped accessible and that child care is provided during worship services.
