GIDDY-UP: A ROUSING GOOD TIME AT CONCERT

Dear Editor:

In response to the letter asking why Mike Kuhl & JD Edge "could not have sung some country songs that we know" at last Sunday's (7/23) gazebo concert, here are some wildly popular country songs suggested for next time:

There's a Tear In My Beer - Hank Williams Jr.
Whiskey River - Willie Nelson
Friends in Low Places  - Garth Brooks
Why Don't We Get Drunk... - Jimmy Buffett

Lest the person who plans these concerts thinks Mike Kuhl & JD Edge were somehow scandalous for singing country songs with lyrics referencing drinking and breaking the law I am writing to say that last Sunday's concert was the best and most original show I've seen at this concert series in four years.  In fact I gave out a loud giddy-up for an encore.

Should you pass the Acosta complaint on to the person/committee who books the acts please pass this note along too:  bring Mike Kuhl & JD Edge back next summer.

Regards,
Timothy Hill
