Independence Day -July 4th
The American Flag is our country's number one symbol, representing the ideals, sacrifices and history of the United States. Each year on July 4th, Americans celebrate their independence and honor our Founding Fathers for their foresight and courage in creating and adopting “The Declaration of Independence.” On this same date in 1776, the adoption of “The Declaration” provided our fledgling nation with the core principles upon which its firm foundation as a government deriving its just powers from the consent of the governed could be established. On this day, let us fly our nation’s flag proudly in honor of all those, past and present, who make it possible for us to retain our inalienable Rights to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
