OCEANS - SEASONS IN NEW JERSEY
Winter:
It's cold walking on the beach,
the sea is grey, ominous
dashing and crashing on the rocks,
it's cold.
Spring:
The boardwalk is still deserted,
drops of rain tickle the ocean,
there's someone working on his boat
thinking of summer.
Summer:
The beach is crowded,
kids splashing, riding the waves, laughing,
the water is blue/green shimmering in the sun,
free spirited.
Autumn:
Again, quiet calm on beach and boards,
the ocean is backdrop for the golden hues,
serene, a little lonely,
never ending.
