THIS NEW YEAR
A new chapter in my life is about to unfold.
A new year of experiences for I’m to behold.
I feel perhaps as a caterpillar may feel upon
spinning its cocoon, as I lay out my strategy
And shoot for the Moon.
Although I may never obtain a bright new
pair of wings. Still I’ll march through this
New Year and see what new light it brings.
