A place of my own to hide
not to be side-tracked,
not to be slowed down
just to ramble,
to amble,
to come and to go
oh, it has to have
a room for you,
with a view
of whispering waters,
marigolds,
birds that sing and nest,
and don't let me forget
books, tiny nooks
where I seek solace
from wordly woes,
doze,
feel free - just to be me.
