GOLDEN HOURS
My life of simple pleasures
Are as fulfilling as my lifelong dreams.
My home is called "Summertime"
Made up of my dog and two cats,
Love, peace, happiness, hugs and kisses
Dwell within that habitat on the banks of
Sandy Hook Bay, not far from the State harbor.
In the marshes behind my cottage
Live its wildlife creatures that bring sounds
To your ear that only come from such rural beauty.
Lush foliage in the Spring and Summer,
Foggy seaside shores in the Fall and Winter,
Keep the eye appreciating these gifts of nature.
My senses never tire, my spirit never wanes,
And I expect to continue on
In such a way until my dying day!
