THE ARC OF GRACE
The Pleides remember
The cold November night
We stood beneath the arc of grace
And felt the blessings flow like foam
Upon the breaking waves.
There we offered thanks and praise
And thanks again for
For the peace that’s hidden in the earth.
No prophet since the Savior’s birth,
Though madmen keep on trying,
Has found the sanctifying thread that
Binds us to the Lamb’s embrace.
Yet gentle souls toward heaven turn
Their gaze above and humbly yearn
For the repose that only trust can bring,
And in silence hear the angels sing.
