MIDDLETOWN, NJ - “This is great for Middletown,” voiced Mayor Gerard Scharfenberger as he , assisted by Tara Eccles, Proprietor, and her sister Lauren Eccles, cut the ribbon at the Grand Opening of
Tara’s dance studio, Emotion in Motion Dance Center on September 4, 2010, in the Adler Lumber Mall, 1833 Route 35, Middletown. The Mayor expounded on that fact by referring to the establishment of this, a viable and most active business occupying a substantial space in the mall.

Tara Eccles, a remarkable dance teacher and award winner who has the full support of her family and the parents of students, has had a fervent ambition to open her own studio. Tara believes that everyone who yearns to dance has a talent that can be nurtured, encouraged, and developed into a super talent. Her studio is unique in that the students will be exposed to dramatics and voice in addition to dance.
Tara says, “Nothing can be accomplished without enthusiasm,” and since enthusiasm permeates the air at the studio, from the love and support of the entire Eccles family to the staff of eight which includes instructors in Dramatics and Voice as well as Dance. The new students will surely have a leg-up in that direction.
Grand Opening attractions featured remarkable dance exhibitions performed in three different categories Lauren Eccles displayed tap-dancing, Angela Melfi provided a jazz review and the youngest, Reese Kovar, age 9, amazed the audience with her hip-hop dance talent.
