Little Silver, NJ  – On Thursday, the Little Silver Business and Professional Association (LSBPA) delivered 350 lbs. of collected to food to Lunch Break in Red Bank as a result of the association’s second annual “Have a Heart Food Drive.”

The canned and non-perishable foods will help fill the pantry shelves at the soup kitchen that has seen an increase in local need during the last year due to rising unemployment rates and increasing cost of living expenses.

Items were collected throughout February and March as part of the LSBPA community outreach initiatives at local businesses including: The Woman’s Exchange, Ye Olde Pie Shoppe, Lynne’s Fashion Boutique, McCue Captains Insurance, Little Silver Family Pharmacy, Healthy Glow, Armstrong Agency, Wachovia Bank, Wells Fargo and Byford and Mills.
