New Brunswick, NJ – The New Jersey Libertarian Party will hold its 2018 State Convention on Saturday, March 24th from 9AM-6PM at the Rutgers University Inn and Conference Center in New Brunswick. Registration is open to the public and there are still some seats available (register at https://njlp.org/convention).

The afternoon will feature a stellar lineup of speakers, including Scott Horton (author of "Fool's Errand: Time to End the War in Afghanistan), Robert Wenzel (Political Commentator), Baruti "Libre" Kafele (Intellectual Entrepreneur), Christa Conklin (Home Educator), and Laura Nicolae (Co-President of the Harvard Libertarian Club).

During the morning the voting members of the Party will select the Libertarian nominee for U.S. Senate. Ramapo College Economics Professor Murray Sabrin has already thrown his hat into the race, attracting national media attention.

The 2017 NJLP Convention sold-out in advance and political commentators expect an even larger crowd this year.

The New Jersey Libertarian Party is the Garden State's third largest political party, founded in 1972. Our vision is for a world in which all individuals have the right to exercise sole control over their lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the rights of others to live as they choose. Our goal is to build a political party that elects Libertarians to public office and moves public policy in a libertarian direction.

We believe liberty is the foundation of justice and a peaceful, prosperous America.
