The foodie event featured 6 days of deals at 20 Keyport eateries and gave visitors the chance to win prizes totaling nearly $2,000!

Keyport, NJ – The Keyport Bayfront Business Cooperative’s first-ever food festival, Savor Keyport, attracted hundreds to the Bayshore town from March 26th to 31st. The event featured 6 days of deals at 20 participating eateries in town and showcased the diverse selection of food Keyport has to offer.

“We have such a diverse selection of eateries here in Keyport,” said Stuart Z Koperweis, Executive Director of the KBBC. “Whether you’re looking for Italian, Mexican, Cajun, American, or really, any type of cuisine, you can find it in Keyport. This new event was a great success, and we can’t wait to do another food festival next year.”

The 6-day event offered special discounts, deals, and prix fixe menus at nearly two dozen eateries in Keyport. Restaurant-goers also had the chance to win prizes totaling nearly $2,000 by entering their information in raffle boxes at participating restaurants.

A great traffic builder for the town, “Savor Keyport” attracted hundreds of foodies and helped spread the word about Keyport’s wide variety of restaurants.

Participating businesses applauded the turnout for the KBBC’s first-ever foodie event, describing it as a fun way to bring more people into their restaurants and try their food. Restaurant owners were pleased to see customers come in during off hours, as well as dozens of new customers.

Participating eateries included Broad Street Diner, Burlew’s Seafood & Steak, DiGiorgio’s Pizza, Drew’s Bayshore Bistro, Espresso Joe’s, First Wok, Keyport Pizzeria, Lenora’s Café, McDonagh’s Pub, Mike’s Subs, Nemo Restaurant, Old Glory Kitchen & Spirits, Planet Bagel, Princess Maria’s Pizza, Pura Vida Deli & Coffee, Tropico Mexican Restaurant and Uncle Louie G’s Italian Ices & Ice Cream.

The in-store giveaway raffles received more than 800 entries and 10 lucky winners were awarded $100 in Keyport Kash, good for use at participating businesses in Keyport. An additional 17 festival attendees received gift cards good for use at the businesses that participated in “Savor Keyport.”
