RED BANK, NJ - Due to excessive heat, Tuesday's Red Bank Dog Days event has been moved to the following night, Wednesday, July 22 when temperatures are expected to be significantly cooler.
Dog Days of Red Bank offers an opportunity for dogs and owners to congregate on Monmouth Street for an evening of shopping, dining and socializing with other pet owners. Each event will feature a different theme with July being a Patriotic theme, August will be Hollywood night and in September we will say Farewell to Summer! Dog owners are encouraged to dress their dogs according to each theme.
Sponsored by Purina and Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, the events will run from 6pm to 9pm on July 21 22, August 18 and September 1. Monmouth Street will be closed from Broad Street to Drummond Place and will be filled with tables for take-out dining, dog friendly open stores and an assortment of pet related vendors.
Vendors will include grooming options, boarding facilities, shelters, pet supplies, doggie wear, treats, food and some great pet charities.
Red Bank Veterinary Hospital will also be on hand with water stations, cleanup areas, dog first aid, nutritionists and behaviorists.
Red Bank is dog friendly! Businesses on Monmouth and throughout town will have a large paw print decal in their window to welcome you and your dog in.
The Borough of Red Bank thanks Red Bank RiverCenter and Red Bank Veterinary Hospital for their support and assistance with the event.
*Please leash all dogs, no retractable type. For the safety of other dogs we ask all pet owners to make sure their animal’s vaccines are current.
