ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - On March 16th, 2015, the Atlantic Highlands L.E.O. Club sponsored a lunch for a local group of seniors. The luncheon was held at the Memphis Pig Out. They served a wide variety of lunch choices, beverages, and desserts. There were over 60 seniors in attendance. When the seniors arrived they received a flower thanking them for attending. The seniors are very active in our local community. The L.E.O. Club was very happy to support the seniors and hope you do as well.
The owners of The Memphis Pig Out, Connie and Mark, were kind enough to host our event. The Memphis Pig Out is celebrating their 30th year in our community. They did a wonderful job accommodating the group and as always they didn’t disappoint with their wonderful food. We were able to take a picture of all the tables and attendees, while they enjoyed their meal. We socialized with all the guests and talked to them about what both groups do for the local area. It was a great event and we hope to do it again in the fall.
The L.E.O. Club volunteers at various events around the local and state area. We will be hosting a car wash in May to help a local family. In June we will be attending the Relay for Life at Middletown North High School. We will also be volunteering with the Heroes on the Water program. The L.E.O. Club is open to children ages 13-18 who are interested in community service.
