A free program for Sandy affected children-
MIDDLETOWN, NJ - This program lets kids (Ages 7-12) control real time animated characters by using video game controllers and microphones. Two children at a time will talk about their experiences going through Sandy and their feelings on the recovery. At the end of the session students can take their animation home and are encouraged to share and discuss with their families. Older teens can participate in the program by becoming ‘producer/mentors’, a process through which they can learn animation techniques to guide those younger than themselves through the animation process.
A limited number of spots are available.
