What are you thankful for? We’re celebrating the season of gratitude and falling leaves at the Middletown Township Public Library with programs aplenty for children!  In addition to our weekly story time we have several special programs planned for November.   Pre-registration is required for all programs.   Visit mtpl.org or call 732-671-3700x340 for more details and a complete list of programming.

Origami for Kids– Tues, Nov 5th 3pm.   Public schools are closed so join Origami artist-Michaela  as she shares her techniques for making a simple seasonal piece.

DIG INTO WILDLIFE-Mon, Nov 11th 1pm  AMAZING, COMICAL, AND EDUCATIONAL presentation.  Public schools are closed so experience when animals, education, and fun collide! The show will feature behaviors, habitats, adaptations, and survival strategies of our guest animals.  TICKETS REQUIRED.  Call or visit the library for more information.

READ TO A DOG! Tues, Nov 12th 7pm OR Wed, Nov 20th 4pm Improve the literacy skills of children! This beloved program encourages children to read by providing a non-judgmental listener in our furry friends.  Children will read to a certified therapy dog for ten minutes.

One Book, One Community  MTPL in conjunction with The Two River Theater  are proud to participate again this year in One Book, One Community.   Stop in the library during our special week-long ‘Wind in the Willows’ drop-in craft Nov 17th -Nov 23rd!  While you’re here, visit the Children’s Services Desk and enter to win a free family 4-pack of tickets to A Wind in the Willows Christmas @ Two River Theater-Red Bank, NJ
