,  - Poricy Park Conservancy located in , will hold Joseph Murray Day on Saturday, June 8, 1:00pm to 4:30pm.

The day’s events include tours of the historic Murray Farmhouse and Barn, presentations, and demonstrations using the spinning wheel, weaving, wood working, colonial games and chores for children, colonial gardening, fence building, and more Discussions and presentations scheduled include "Abigail Adams" an early feminist; and "Something About George." There will also be a black powder Musket fire demonstration, which is loud! The day culminates with a live history reenactment of events from 233 years ago. Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras and take photos, and have fun at the colonial photo op on the Farmhouse lawn. Appropriate for adults and children ages 7 and up; children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Walk-ins welcome, but pre-registration is encouraged to help accelerate entrance. Regular program fees apply: $5 for members and $7 for non-members. Maximum per family household is $20 members with PPC Family Membership or higher and $25 non-members; (one discount per household).
