“I was very impressed with how engaged the children were in the program” noted catechetical leader Mrs. Melissa Whelan Wisk. The children loved singing songs and watching the puppets. The words were changed from the popular “YMCA” song to remind everyone “Why Not Today” to start being good. The children learned an important lesson about Jesus as a good shepherd who will welcome them back into the flock.
The children will be making their First Reconciliation over the next two Saturdays at their home parish along with children from Mother Teresa Regional School who are members of those parishes.
