ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - With a new year comes a new season of programs and events at Central Baptist Church. We have a variety of meetings for children, teen, and young adults, starting up for the new year on Sunday, January 8.
Every Sunday morning, at 10 a.m., our high school Sunday School class meets. They are currently studying To Save a Life: Dare to Make Your Life Count. College students and young adults are welcome to join the adult Sunday School class, which meets at the same time. They will be reading through the book of Acts.
At 11 a.m., Sunday School begins for children in Pre-K through the 8th grade. Mom, dad, and older siblings can participate in the Worship Service and babies and toddlers are always welcome in the church nursery.
On Sunday evenings, our youth group meets each week at 6 p.m. under the leadership of Youth Director Jules Hull. In February the youth group will be participating in the 30 Hour Famine, an event where youth fast and raise money for hungry children around the world. In March, they will travel to Washington, D.C. for Planet Wisdom, a Bible conference for students.
Once a month on Sunday evenings, the young adults of the church meet for dinner and fellowship. The dinner is for those between the ages of 18 and 30.
Friday nights are a time to get out some of the pent-up energy after a full week of school. Join us at Atlantic Highlands Elementary School for BYF. At 7 p.m., children in grades 4-6 play basketball, volleyball, and other games. At 8 p.m., teens in grades 7-12 have their turn in the gym.
At Central Baptist Church, we are excited about all of our programs for kids, teens, and young adults in 2012. We hope that you will be able to join us. For more information, please call the church office at 732-291-8111, go to our website www.centralbaptistchurchah.org, or look us up on Facebook.
