MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Mayor and Township Committee members offered their thanks to outgoing Deputy Mayor Pamela M. Brightbill during the December meeting. Mayor Fiore presented her with a proclamation in recognition of her six outstanding years of public service. He also gave her a commemorative clock.

Deputy Mayor Pamela M. Brightbill has been serving on the Township Committee since 2006. She served as Mayor in 2009 and Deputy Mayor from 2007 through 2008. She currently serves as Township Committee liaison to the Middletown Township Cultural and Arts Council. She is a member of the Township’s Green team, Open Space Committee and the Planning Board. Brightbill has also served on the Township’s Recreation Advisory Committee. She is the co-chair of The Great Race of Middletown, a Middletown Education Foundation trustee, and a past Middletown Newcomers Club vice-president. Brightbill has a degree in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and is a graduate of Middletown HS south. She has two children who are graduates of the Middletown public school system, and lives with her husband in the River Plaza section of the township.
