RED BANK, NJ Red Bank RiverCenter is proud to announce its event schedule for the 2011 Holiday Season.

Kick off the holiday season on Friday, November 25th with the Red Bank Town Lighting and Holiday Express Concert presented by Riverview Medical Center, Hollycrest Wines and Shore Point Distributing Co.  For the 18th consecutive year, Holiday Express will be performing all of your holiday favorites in rock star fashion in concert. The concert begins at 7:00pm, on Broad Street, at Canal Street. Broad Street from Peters Place to Monmouth Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 4:00-11:00 pm. However, Peters place will remain open the duration of the event for folks to access the main part of the business district and detour around the concert area to find parking.

On the same day, for the tenth year, there will be a free Santa Express train that departs from the Little Silver Train Station and arrives at the Red Bank Train Station with a parade down Monmouth Street in time for the Holiday Express concert.  Starting at 4:00pm, the Little Silver Train Station will be hosting Santa & Mrs. Claus who will be taking pictures with the little children; special holiday goodies will also be given out.    The train will be leaving Little Silver at approximately 6:29pm for Red Bank.  Santa, along with Mrs. Claus will be the grand marshals of the parade and will make an appearance later in the evening at the concert.  This event is sponsored by The Galleria Red Bank.

The Red Bank Christmas tree will be located at 30 Monmouth Street in the Dublin House Courtyard.  The tree will be lit as Santa parades up Monmouth Street at approximately 6:45pm. The Town Lighting will occur during the concert which begins at 7:00pm.
