ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - The Atlantic Highlands Arts Council is now accepting submissions for FilmOneFest 2010,  New Jersey's only one minute film festival.  The second annual FilmOneFest will take place on July 17, 2010, in the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina, and will feature one minute videos and films from local, national and international film makers.

Films may be submitted by mail or email in one of four categories: "Student" (for filmmakers who are currently enrolled in high school or an accredited college), "ONE" (for films with themes about unity and community), "Bayshore" (for films from filmmakers from the Bayshore region of NJ and/or films about the Bayshore), and "Open"  (for all other films including animation, experimental and narrative works.) Films are judged independent of category.

FilmOneFest 2010 deadlines and submission requirements can be found at http://www.filmonefest.org.  The 2010 Selection Committee includes: Jon Crowley, Executive Director of truTV; Joan Ellis, critic and writer called "The Pauline Kael of the Internet" by Newsweek Magazine; Gedney Webb, award-winning sound editor; and Victor Zak, award-winning journalist, movie critic and commentator and writer.

Donations of non-perishable food items to benefit the Food Pantry are accepted at all FilmOneFest events.
