MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Westminster Presbyterian Church (WPC) will open the doors of its unique Middletown Sanctuary on Sunday afternoon, May 21st at 3 pm for a benefit performance designed to delight both music lovers and classical music buffs.
The program will showcase Erika Sayar on piano and Jeffrey Boga on violin, and feature piano and violin solos highlighting music throughout the ages, from the Baroque Era thru 20th century music including compositions of Corelli, Mozart, Dvorak, Chopin, Cowell and more.
Erika, who is WPC’s Music Director is an accomplished pianist, who has won competitions earning her performances in Carnegie Hall and the Kimmel Center and is a popular soloist, accompanist, and freelance musician throughout the area. Jeffrey teaches in the performing arts program at Red Bank Regional High School, and is an active performer on the violin in international festivals, chamber ensembles, and orchestras.
Both musicians are committed to their art and passionate about connecting with and transforming people through music. A freewill offering will be accepted with a suggested minimum donation of $10. One hundred percent of proceeds will be donated to the church. Light refreshments will follow the performance at the WPC Community Center, Harlan Hall.
