RED BANK, NJ -The award-winning Monmouth Civic Chorus celebrates Valentine’s Day and the season of love with a brilliant concert titled Love is in the Air, a celebration of love songs from the Middle Ages to the internet age. Concert goers will reflect on the many aspects of love through ballads, madrigals, popular songs, poems and more. The music is sure to lift and inspire and is the perfect way to extend the spirit of Valentine’s Day. The concert is on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at 4:00pm at First Presbyterian Church (Tower Hill), 255 Harding Road, Red Bank. Tickets are $30 adult, $27 senior, $25 group, $5 student. Qu’il la Fait Bon Regarder. Rounding out the music programmed by Artistic Director Dr. Ryan James Brandau will be several performances by small groups of chorus members. Over 20 members will be featured in madrigals, vocal jazz performances, show tunes and more. The ensembles will be interspersed between selections sung by the entire chorus.
