OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ – Effective immediately, the Monmouth County Division of Social Services at 2405 Route 66, is closed until further notice due to water damage in the building. The Probation Office that operates in the other half of the building will remain open.
Any Monmouth County resident seeking services from the Division of Social Services is encouraged to go to the county’s other Social Services office at 3000 Kozloski Rd., Freehold.
Monmouth County Division of Social Services assists Monmouth County residents in need of social services, financial assistance and medical assistance. The Division is part of the Monmouth County Department of Human Services and provides services such as childcare, food, housing, energy and medical services. The exact cause of the water source has not been determined. A rumor that a roof collapsed is unfounded.
