HOLMDEL, NJ - Will late winter storms and summer droughts become the norm for Holmdel and New Jersey over the next 20 years?  Find out on Wednesday, January 12, as Dr. Jan Dash, noted physicist and Director of the Climate Initiative of the Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office discusses climate change at the Citizens for Informed Land Use meeting beginning at 7:30pm at the Holmdel Community Center on Crawford’s Corner Road.

Dr. Dash delivered the UN Committee on Sustainable Development’s statement at the Copenhagen Climate Conference, and is currently a member of Middletown’s Green Team. He has published over 60 scientific papers, and served as Director de Recherche at the Centre de Physique Theorique in Marseille. Previously a manager of quant/risk groups at financial institutions, he authored Quantitative Finance and risk Management, A Physicist’s Approach.
