Lincroft, NJ - Business owners can train their employees for free at Brookdale Community College through a New Jersey Department of Labor and Business and Industry Grant.  All New Jersey businesses are eligible to participate.   Training is free in the following basic skills areas:

Introduction to PCs & Windows

Word Level I & II

Excel Level I & II

Outlook

Basic Math & Measurement

English as a Second Language I & II

Communication: Verbal, Written & Customer Service

 

Take Advantage of Training in the Following Ways:

Dedicated Class:  Employers can form their own class of 12 or more in any of the above basic skills area. Classes can be held at your business, or at any of Brookdale’s six Campuses or Higher Education Centers in Monmouth County.

Open Enrollment: Employers may register employees in any of the classes beginning now at Brookdale. The current open enrollment course schedule for Summer & Fall include the following offerings:

Important conditions for program participation include the following stipulations:

  • Participants may register for more than one class but they cannot repeat a class.
  • Participants must pre-register for classes; a letter of confirmation must be presented in class.
  • Participants must be working a minimum of 20 hours per week and must be paid for their time in class.
  • Public employees are not eligible to participate.
