WALL, N.J. – New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) will host a series of Energy Assistance Days in communities throughout its service territory of Monmouth, Ocean and Morris counties to offer individuals personal assistance with the application process.

On November 1, 2010, the federal Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) will begin accepting applications for the 2010-2011 heating season. HEAP, as well as the state’s Universal Service Fund, provides financial support to help income-eligible individuals with their utility bills.

Representatives from NJNG will be on-hand to help answer questions and assistance on the following days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
