HOLMDEL, NJ - The Harvest Home Festival is a miniature country fair, an event that was popular in the late 1890s. The Monmouth County Park System will host the Harvest Home Festival at Longstreet Farm, Longstreet Road, Holmdel on Sunday, September 26 from 11am-5pm.

Area residents can join in the spirit of the festival by entering into one of many competitions and winning a prize ribbon. Competition categories include vegetables, fruits, canning, condiments, baked goods, needlework, quilting, and rug hooking.

- State Hwy. 35 to Holmdel/Keyport Rd. Northbound, turn left; southbound, turn right. Follow Holmdel/Keyport Rd. to Crawfords Corner Rd., turn left. Continue to Longstreet Rd., turn right Park is on right.
