FREEHOLD, NJ - On Saturday, October 9, the Monmouth County Historical Association will host a wine tasting at the Museum & Library, 70 Court Street in Freehold. The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. and will feature a sampling of over 15 fine wines from France, Italy, Chile, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina. Experts will be on hand to share their knowledge about those wines. Complementing hors d’oeuvres, catered by Metropolitan Café, will be paired with the wines continuing the theme of “An Evening Around the World.”
The Museum galleries will be open for view during the event featuring the exhibition, “Craftsmen & Clients,” a display of fine furniture and silver from the 18th and early 19th centuries. The wine tasting will be held under a tent in the back yard of the Association’s historic 1931 headquarters building.
This special event is open to the public and tickets are priced at $75 per person. Each guest will receive a complimentary MCHA wine glass.
