Zeta Tau Alpha receives silver award for outstanding achievement

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J.   – Monmouth University’s Kappa Nu Chapter  of Zeta Tau Alpha received the Silver Award for Alumnae – Collegiate Relations at the Zeta Tau Alpha National Convention held at the Marriott Hotel, New Orleans, LA, July 7 to 11, 2010. The Silver Award  is given for outstanding achievement in the areas of scholarship, fundraising, Panhellenic and alumni relations.  It is the highest award that a chapter can receive.

Founded on October 15, 1898 at Virginia State Female Normal School (now Longwood University), Farmville, Virginia,  Zeta Tau Alpha is a member of the National Panhellenic Conference with 152 active collegiate chapters and 206,000 initiated members.
