Holmdel, N.J. – German School of Monmouth County (GSMC) (http://www.germanschoolmc.org) students Cameron Spector of Fair Haven, Laura Vorbach of Spring Lake Heights and Jessica Birk of Holmdel were awarded an Excellence in German Award for scoring more than 90% on the National German Examination, taken by more than 23,000 students nationwide.

“We are proud of our students’ achievement particularly as our program is only three years old,” said GSMC Principal Michaela Greco of Atlantic Highlands. “As we continue to work in a globalized economy, it is important for students to become proficient in a second language, and learn about other cultures."
