If you are caring for someone this information session is well worth a visit
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Office on Aging is hosting a Caregiver Information Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 18 at the Middletown Township Public Library.
The purpose of the fair is to connect caregivers with an array of service providers who will be able to distribute information about a variety of services involving care for the aged and how to access those services. Among the services included are adult day care, respite care and home health agencies.
“Monmouth County has recently provided more resources for caregivers and hired a caregiver specialist to attend to those in need,” Freeholder Amy A. Mallet said. “In order to provide proper care for our older citizens, we must also take care of the caregivers.”
“There will be numerous vendors and agencies with information that will make caregivers’ lives a little easier,” said Thomas Pivinski, director of the Office on Aging.
The fair is being held at the Middletown Township Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Road, Middletown. There is no charge to attend and access the information.
