Red Bank, NJ – On Sunday, May 23, 2010 IGA Nephropathy Foundation of America will hold its 6th annual “Steppin’ Out 4 A Cure” walk on the Belmar Boardwalk to raise funds for IGA Nephropathy research. IGA Nephropathy is one of the most common kidney diseases and occurs when IGA-a protein that helps your body fight infections-settles in the kidneys.

Sponsored by Weichert Realtors, the walk is a leisurely two mile stroll with entertainment for the entire family and will help us raise awareness of IGA Nephropathy disease. The funds you raise will be applied directly to research and our public education programs.

All registered walkers will be a part of breakfast with donuts and juice, face painting, team pictures, team signs, music, a swag bag, a post-walk celebration with 10-foot subs, chances to win great prizes, and more!

Registration begins at 8:30 in Silver Lake Park and start time is at 11:00am and the post-walk celebration at 11:30am.

The IGA Nephropathy Foundation of America was established in 2004 to address the problems related to IGA Nephropathy and to better fund research.  As a recognized non-profit, 501(C)(3) tax exempt public health agency, we are committed to finding a cure and educating people of the warning signs of IGA Nephropathy.
