West Long Branch, N.J.- Monmouth University’s Jewish Cultural Studies Program will present  Celebrating Jerusalem events June 13 to June 15, 2010.  All events will be held in Wilson Hall Auditorium and are free and open to the public.

A reception will follow at 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday, June 15, 2010, 7-9 p.m., Film, "Appelfeld's Table"

The film revolves around the renowned Israeli author Aharon Appelfeld's daily pilgrimages to the Anna Ticho House in Jerusalem, whose café he uses as a study and a meeting place with friends and colleagues.  Appelfeld's dramatic personal story is enriched by excerpts from his writings with an attempt to understand the creative process.
