MIDDLETOWN —  The Monmouth County Park System’s Spring Craft Show offers a variety of hand-crafted items including jewelry, artwork, wood carvings, embroidery, bird feeders, glasswork, picture frames, pottery, soaps and more.  Held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, April 22 at the Tatum Park Red Hill Activity Center, Red Hill Road, Middletown, this seasonal craft show is the perfect place to find Mother’s Day gifts, spring decorations and more.  Admission and parking are free.

 

After finding the perfect decoration for your home or garden, head across the street to the Park System’s Great Spring Perennial Plant Swap.  Held from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. at Deep Cut Gardens, Middletown, this event invites gardeners to bring labeled plants in one-quart, one-gallon or two-gallon containers and take home the same size and number of plants.  Herb and vegetable seedlings are allowed.  Plant drop off will be from 8:30-10 a.m. and selection from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
