EMSCNJ conference features high-angle rescue demo, mobile ER, antique ambulances, trade show, vendors, 40+ seminars

Oct. 21-23 Parsippany event also includes Toys for Tots drive, silent auction

PARSIPPANY, NJ – The EMS Council of New Jersey’s annual symposium and trade show schedule is packed with activities and learning opportunities for EMS providers. Organizers expect hundreds of attendees, including 100 EMS cadets during the Oct. 21-23 event at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel, 199 Smith Road, Parsippany. Highlights of this year’s schedule include:

Friday, Oct. 21, 2016

  • The New Jersey – Mobile Satellite Emergency Department (NJ-MSED), featuring 7 critical care beds, allows medical responders to provide on-scene trauma and life-saving services following a mass casualty incident.

  • The Parsippany Rescue and Recovery Team will stage a high-angle rescue demonstration with a “dummy” victim from the hotel roof. (1:30-3 p.m.)

Throughout the weekend, the EMSCNJ will collect new, unwrapped gifts for donation to the Toys for Toys drive.
